In addition to her visual art, Abdelrasoul is also a designer of book covers and children’s literature, as well as an educator, leading art workshops for children both in Egypt and internationally.

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1998 from El Minya University, followed by a master's degree in History of Art in 2005, and a PhD in Modern Art History in 2012.
